Honorary Appointments

An honorary appointment is a voluntary arrangement which allows individuals to continue to collaborate with staff at the University of Lincoln after you leave. The title appointed will reflect current academic or professional standing. Full details about honorary appointments and how to apply can be found at the following link: https://hr.lincoln.ac.uk/honorary-appointments-and-emeritus-professors/

They involve varying and flexible teaching duties (i.e. occasional seminars or lectures), collaboration in research, or joint supervision for postgraduate research, but no executive or administrative functions. They confer a courtesy status, and the right to use University facilities and attend degree ceremonies.
