Mandatory Training

We have a suite of mandatory training which every employee should complete. The aim of the mandatory training sessions is to ensure employees are aware of the key policies of the University and provided with the relevant information to help them perform within their roles. This will need to initially be completed during their induction and probationary period and then in line with the refresher training noted below. Please note the separate section below for Associate Staff.

Refresher training should not be completed before receiving the automated email reminder,  the system will not recognise the new completion date and colleagues will be required to complete the refresher training again in the relevant timeframe.

Workshops:
Safeguarding Children, Vulnerable Adults and Student Mental Health Staff need to complete this workshop initially and then complete the online module every 2 years.

Information Compliance:

All staff need to recomplete these modules annually.
Introduction to Digital Accessibility  

Health & Safety:

·       Introduction to Health & Safety

·       Fire Safety

·       Stress Awareness

All staff need to recomplete these modules every 3 years.
Safeguarding Children, Vulnerable Adults and Student Mental Health Once the face-to-face workshop has been completed, all staff need to recomplete this module every 2 years.

Equality in the Workplace

PDR Reviewer Workshop For managers of Professional Service staff only.
PREVENT Workshop For staff involved in delivering apprenticeship programmes – both academic and professional service staff.
