Wellbeing
The University of Lincoln is committed to continually supporting the wellbeing of colleagues.
We encourage colleagues to prioritise their wellbeing using the offering available to them through the University, but also those resources that can be accessed externally as well.
At this time we understand that colleagues may be feeling anxious or overwhelmed, please see below some resources that we recommend using.
We also encourage anyone wanting more support or advice, to email staffwellbeing@lincoln.ac.uk.
Mental Health
Should colleagues wish to speak to someone regarding their mental health then there are multiple options available to them.
Mental Health First Aiders
If you feel you, or someone else, is having a mental health crisis or emergency, there are trained colleagues from across all areas of the University that can be contacted via Teams or email from our Mental Health First Aiders page.
Employee Assistance Solutions
During employment at the University of Lincoln, you are able to access a range of resources, including a confidential phoneline or online chat to speak to a trained professional who can refer you to counselling should it be required, “Zest” an app to help monitor your wellbeing daily, CBT and daily activities.

External Platforms
Togetherall is an external platform which gives a safe place to share your experiences, express yourself creatively and access a library of self-care resources, tips and guided group courses and can help with adopting useful coping strategies and behaviours.
Campaign Against Living Miserably stands together with everyone who’s struggling with life, no matter who they are, where they’re from or what they’re going through. And we do it through our life-saving services, national campaigns, and by building communities.
Access to e-books & Audio Books
Libraries & Learning Skills have launched a collection of non-academic e-books and audiobooks that you can read or listen to via the handy Libby app!
You can find our collection at lncn.ac/Libby. Add your staff card at lncn.ac/addLibrary and download the Libby app from lncn.ac/GetLibby. You can add your Lincolnshire Libraries card too! Just as with a print book, through Libby you can ‘check out’ a title to read or, if someone else is reading it, place a reservation.
There are a variety of titles available on managing finances, wellbeing, careers hobbies and much more.
