Academic Promotions now open

The Academic Promotions annual cycle is now open and will close for applications April 20th.

It gives academic staff the chance to apply for internal promotions to the positions of Associate Professor and Professor (either on a Teaching and Research or Teaching, Scholarship and Professional Practice profile).

To support staff wishing to make an application, a workshop has been arranged for Monday 30th March 2020 at 12 – 2pm. The session will include a brief introduction from Andrew Hunter and Liz Mossop on the various routes for promotion and previous successful candidates will be on hand to talk through their experience of applying through this process. Last year we received more applications than ever and an unprecedented 69% of applications for Professor were successful on both profiles.
