Should a member of UCRSS move overseas and wish to investigate transferring their pension the following provides some information.
HMRC Recognised Overseas Pension Schemes (ROPS).

Please note, that the listed schemes have told HMRC they meet the conditions to be a ROPS.

Once it has been confirmed that the receiving scheme is on the ROPS list, the member would need to contact the Mercer MasterTrust team at mercermastertrust@aviva.com about transferring their pension pot, and the team can then send the correct discharge forms to kick start the transfer process.

Please note, it is important that the member reads the section of gov.uk website that refers to different charges involved with transferring their pension overseas, as the charges can differ for various reasons. (See the below extract).

As per the final sentence in the extract, the member should seek suitable professional financial advice, so that they are guaranteed to receive all the relevant information necessary to make the decision regarding transferring their pension overseas.
