Relocating to the University of Lincoln
We understand how important is it for the process of relocating to the University to be as smooth as possible. If you need any support please get in touch to let us know. We can help with things like opening a bank account, arranging taxis, providing rental references, signposting to services, claiming your relocation expenses as well as providing background information about the area.
If you would like professional help with your move, we have partnered with Relocation Support Services (RSS) to help you with every step of your relocation or alternatively, they can provide you with specific areas of support only.
We recognise the importance of supporting staff who are settling into a new area and helping them find out about local housing, schools, GP services, and other amenities which can be time-consuming and difficult.
For those in receipt of relocation allowance, you may decide whether to use RSS or make your own arrangements and reclaim the cost through our expenses system on My View which you will have access to as soon as you commence employment.
