The University of Lincoln celebrates Eid

The University of Lincoln Celebrates Eid

On 24th June, staff, their families and members of the community came together to celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadad and Eid.

The celebration, which was held in the Minerva Building Atrium, was organised in collaboration with the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Service and the HR Engagement, Equality and Development teams. It featured an introduction by Umar Zamman, Head of Engagement, Equality and Organisational Development and a welcome by Ros Simpson, HR Director. The Imam introduced Eid and discussed the value of cultural integration and peace.

Individuals of all nationalities, ethnicities and faiths were invited to enjoy South Asian food and network with fellow attendees.
