University & Colleges Retirement Savings Scheme (UCRSS)

The UCRSS is a pension scheme apart of  the Mercer Master Trust. Aviva is the Mercer Master Trust administrator. It manages your Plan savings account from day to day.

The University of Lincoln is a participating employer within the UCRSS pension scheme.

The Mercer Master Trust is managed by the Mercer Master Trust Trustee Board, which is made up of three independent professional corporate trustees. The Trustee Board has a duty to manage the Mercer Master Trust in the best interests of you and your beneficiaries and in accordance with its Rules. This includes confirming that the Mercer Master Trust offers its members value for money. The Mercer Master Trust Trustee Board oversees and monitors all of the investment funds to ensure they are meeting the objectives set for them.

You will be able to access information about your Plan retirement savings via Mercer Money. Mercer Money is a website and app designed to support your pension journey. It is the first place for you to go to access information about your  pension savings. As well as details of your account value and contributions paid in, there are tools, guides and other features to help you make the most of your pension savings.

Once you are enrolled in to scheme you will receive information and details of how to activate your Mercer Money account and get started.

As a member of the scheme, you will receive an letter with details on how to register for Mercer Money. If there is a valid email address on file, you will also receive an email.
